Perry appeared as part of Maggie's live-action dream sequence involving her "A Fluppet Christmas Special" book. During the final scene of the episode, the Fox show’s cast appeared in live (CGI) puppet mode complete with sitcom laugh track. Celebrity Digital

As the family prepared to take a vacation, Moe entered the scene as their designated house sitter. He called his girlfriend to invite her over to his "new bachelor pad," as the audience tutted. Meanwhile, Mr. Burns took it upon himself to show up to wish the family happy holidays, but was stopped in his tracks by "pop-star-slash-fashionista Katy Perry" who arrived on the scene in a tight red latex dress with the Simpsons family faces all over it. "What are you people doing in my boyfriend Moe's bachelor pad?" she asked.
"That's right, she's into puppets," Moe said. Homer then confessed to Mr. Burns that he had lied about missing work, which put his boss out of sorts. "Someone totally needs a hug," Perry said, bending down to shove Burns into her cleavage and then give him a kiss. "I kissed a girl and I liked it," Burns purred in response. The whole group then sang a Christmas carol, "39 Days of Christmas."
But the piece de resistance came at the end of the show, when the credits rolled as Moe attempted to grab his girlfriend to kiss her on the lips. Celebrity Digital

"I’ll just kiss your belly button," before pushing his face into her pelvic region. " That's not my belly button! "   Perry yelped. "But I didn't stay stop!" The "Fireworks" singer was cast in the special after she her " Hot N Cold " duet with Elmo was banned from "Sesame Street" after parents complained it was too risqué for kids.
" In the wake of Elmo’s terrible betrayal, 'The Simpsons' puppets wish to announce they stand felt-shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry," " Simpsons " executive producer Al Jean told ew.com at the time.
This is not the first time Perry has alluded to the Elmo ban - she also mocked her "Sesame Street" appearance on "Saturday Night Live" by wearing a low-cut Elmo t-shirt. Celebrity Digital
